Not just these. First of all Anker hasn’t made or not yet released any dashcam that is made of super capacitor. All Anker made cams are battery made and these are not recommended for long time...

Can you document these specific issues with these models anywhere? And what do you suggest be done instead, specifically? Are there dash cams that fit the description you gave, and if so, which?

Both are NOT recommended! And both are bad cos both made of battery which is cheap to make and can be dangerous! You don’t expose battery in hot climate for long time! They will eventually burn...
