I can confirm that the input lag is horrendous. Even worse on the 65" that I own. It runs upwards of 100 ms. Fps gaming and fighter games are impossible on it all other gaming doesn't matter though.

Yes and no. The firmware update for the older models activated an HDR mode, but it's broken (Netflix is really dark, PS4 Pro turns green, Apple TV washed out, etc). So it's effectively not working. ...

I have the 2016 version of the 50H8C, which does NOT have HDR supoort. The 2017 models apparently do, so I imagine anyone picking it up now will be fine.

Yep. Also no Hulu for anyone wondering but it does have netflix, amazon prime, and vudu. My workaround is since it has a casting app, I would just cast hulu from my phone to the tv. Works great...
