Yeah get the 2nd Gen. It's awesome. The drill has same specs but much shorter. The impact got a good bump in torque and the four speed is awesome. Self tapping for people who need it.

No. After the adapters you need, you get too much twist which limits the effectiveness of impacts. I tried on my Subaru (80-90 lb-ft) and it didn't do the trick.
