same thing at the Wal-Mart I went to....they even had dual bags of other charcoal for $17+. I also picked up a 30lb bag of lump charcoal (never used lump before) for $10,,,

Lump doesn't have ~25% filler. And they grind down a lot of the fines that wouldn't pass quality control for a bag of lump to make briquettes.
