Hi Psumarsh, 1) If Hikvsion OEM cube: I do not know of many Hikvision OEM vendors for the cube cameras. Seems like a lot of OOS on the 2MP versions. Probably worth seeing if anyone at...

Hi Ride, The Dahua OEM starlight cameras are super easy to buy online - just need to connect with the preferred vendor by forum members. Seriously, I got mine quicker from China than most packages...

Thanks, I took a look at ipcamtalk but it seems like folks there push nothing but dahua cams, and the starlight ones a lot, and even those are not easy to buy simply online. While it's really cool...

I bought the Hykamic 4MP rebranded camera from Amazon. Good price on a good product, $10 cheaper than the Hikvision branded version.

Hi Ride, Good question. If newegg is selling it directly then I feel ok with them. If it is a 3rd party I then have more concerns. Seen a lot of bad vendors on Amazon, Ebay, and Ali. ...

Thanks. What's a good place to pick up cameras? Amazon has bunch of fakes, is newegg relatively safer? Also how do we know we got an authentic/unmodified camera, does hikvision have a way to...

Hi Zelo, Note your Budget and Best do not match. If you have the Annke rebrands of the Hikvision OEM cube and have updated the firmware, then: I would look for a Hikvision OEM NVR - pop over...

Hi Ride, ONVIF has different "levels" / specs. In general, as long as Blue Iris is able to get teh rtsp feed it can record the video. There's more of course to control cameras, so it does...

Yup, that's the one. I wanted higher resolution indoors on the back door, so it was the first replacement from the Annke 2MP rebrand to the Hykamic 4MP rebrand. It's been flawless.
