I just did a chat now from the symantecrebates website. They resolved it and now it states valid and processing. I recommend anyone with the same issue open a chat with them.

Same issue for me; the $50 rebate got rejected since the UPC was wrong apparently. The $15 upgrade MIR was approved however. This is extremely frustrating.
