I disagree. I think Legoland is very suited for kids b/w 4-6 maybe 7 or 8. The crowds are so much less than Disney and that for us a plus.

FYI Costco already stopped selling the unlimited pass last month, generally they only offer it the first few months of the year and now they only sell a 5-day pass for about the same price

According to their FB page, you CANNOT add waterpark to the pass. It will be an extra $20 each time. So if you plan to go more than a few times another pass would work out better.
