As I said I couldn’t remember actual price but I got that deal and since then Apple has converted them to 4K one heck of a price mistake

Not really. There was a short lived price mistake at $10 for a few hours in 2013 but that can’t be used as a reference.

You can try hiding them, but I think that no longer works. You can gift them to yourself, however the 4K license may not transfer back to MA through this method.

They weren't from SD codes originally were they? Those got upgraded to HD, when MA launched, but would not qualify for the 4K upgrade. Redeeming a code on itunes qualifies for the upgrade. ...

did you buy the harry potters directly from itunes though? from what i've read, if you've just redeemed a code at itunes, and not bought directly from itunes, then it might not upgrade to 4k.
