Yea that's also a deal breaker. Thunderbolt 3 rapidly growing so it will be a must in the long-run or when I decide I want to add an external GPU as well.

Only the highest end G3 has thunderbolt if that is important to you. There will be more deals to come.

What rebate stuff? Yes the G3 looks pretty sweet just saw a new one on Ebay for $899.99 brand new with these same specs. I'd feel safer purchasing from Dell directly or a reputable retailer though....
