You need to make sure your device is quick charge 3.0 compatable. They all charge at the same rate with oem cables and if plugged into the correct port.

Not necessarily, some use lipolymer packs, like the Kensington I had. This one does NOT likely use 18650, as the thickness is 16 mm, and you can't fit an 18 mm battery into a 16mm case
