I third that, I have this "kit" and it blows. Save the money and get the good stuff...I've actually wasted a lot of money buy cheap stuff only to get the real deal as I got better at wood working....

Haven't used kreg. Can't complain about the HF one. It even disassembles so you can clamp it to tiny parts or cramped spaces.

I agree with the others that the Kreg R3 looks a lot better given it can be adjusted for wood thickness. I have a Kreg K5 that I rarely use but an R3 would be great for repairs.

I've never used this one so can't comment but I have both Kreg K4 and Porter-Cable QuikJig. Both with pro's and con's. Either way don't forget, glue is MUCH stronger when combined with pocket...

You could buy a clamp for miters and just glue. Might be cheaper and no risk of blowout if you're using thin wood
