If you drop another phone in water, place it in silica gel, they are the little packets that come with electronics. It also says to throw away, but I keep it to keep moisture out of my boxed items....

put in rice for 5 days then charge it for 30 minutes with wall charger ,then reset it by holding down home button and sleep button some credit cards cover damage to phone if you used it to buy phone

I agree with LiquidRetro. There's really no use trying to salvage it at this point. You should consider a waterproof phone if you decide to get a new one. 😊 Best of luck!

Your best bet is likely to look at a replacement. It's nearly a 4 year old phone at this point. Cost of replacement parts would likely be more then it's worth.
