According to the reviews on tomshardware and anandtech, this model's 500GB version is much better in performance. At 130$ it is also cheaper in terms of $/GB. Probably worth considering

TBH, probably would be better to get a Samsung or other better drive. X4 is much better and the better drives are the same price (pm961 on eBay)

I ordered the Kingston sa1000 last week for 80. It uses the same Phison E8 controller and Toshiba tlc as the sbx. I would go with the sbx if it were 70 last week.
I dont really care about speed....
