I'll give you an actual serious answer. If that's what you're looking for then you might look at a used Cisco router off of eBay. But don't expect a GUI, or a built-in firewall.

This Is a very good router but one could get the v1 for $79 and there is no significant performance difference. MU-MIMO is a gimmick and there is no easy way to root it to another firmware.

No I'm not. Chinese companies have actually got in big trouble for backdoors in routers, I believe, and Google is one of the worst companies related to privacy.
