Oh that's weird. Sorry about that. We used latch, then pressed down on the seat while pulling the belt to tighten it up and its glued hard to the seat with little wiggleroom.

it did not work for us rear facing, no matter what what do it is not secure enough, after a little while, it loosens and start to swing left and right.

Why is it such pain? I thought it was one of the easier installs that I had to do. I think it is super comfy and plush. Good price if the design is your style.

Mine is rear facing, and I have no issues. I really like it. That said, this price is a good price for this product whether you prefer it or not.
