Do yourself a favor and practice crimping cables and get a cable tester. Presumably, you'll be up on a ladder crimping a cable and will be cursing yourself if it doesnt work later. Test it while...

Hi Twoweeled, 1) Patch Panel A patch panel is not required, just helps make a nicer setup imho. You can run each cat5e/6 cable directly from camera to NVR PoE port - this would be the easiest. ...

I'm probably misunderstanding this, but I don't understand why you'd need a junction box. I'm planning on running and mounting cameras under eaves. I'm thinking, punch in to wood soffit or wood...

The network jack for the camera is not weatherproof or waterproof unless you install the weatherproof coupler (assuming it comes with the kit) or use electrical tape to wrap around it. Either way it...

I’m aware, I may go with security company to pull the wires. I’d essentially need 5, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. I could sell the other 2 on eBay then buy one of those Dahua lowlight cameras...

Ok so, if all of the cameras are behind the NVR you do have some level of network separation. So the NVR itself is assigned 2 IP addresses. Past that, does it do any NAT or the like? I'm guessing...
