I know exactly what it is. I have 2 34" monitors ones a G-Sync the other is a Freesync both 100hz. With the 1080ti I typically never go below 100hz so G-Sync and Freesync are somewhat useless :)

Why? probably because the card does not perform well. I have a FreeSync 34" and still am using Nvidia.
