I would bet against it. They have some other management app for another product line. I think it is a poor choice to have disparate management platforms. I use ac-lites and like them.

I use multiple OpenWRT pkg, the most important one is mwan3 for multiWAN which is A LOT more easier to configure and more functional (you can have rules and specify which traffic goes thru where)....

This router DOES has a 24V PoE port (standard for Ubiquiti hardware, not 802.3af). The issue is that the PSU doesnt have enough power for an extra device. One can put a 24V 1A PSU instead of the 12V...

This router can do quite a bit more (assuming the Asus isn't running custom firmware), but then again, it's not designed for the "typical consumer" with minimal or no networking knowledge.
