I used the patched Odin from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/patched-odin-3-13-1-t3762572 I was able to flash straight to G950U1UES5CRF5, which as the post before yours...

I was using PrinceComsy Odin which is what I thought you needed for moving from carrier to unlocked. Maybe this Modded Odin is what I needed

I tried using Odin to flash unlocked software onto it before I sold it but it failed. So I just sold it as Unlocked USCellular etc

The video is posted is for s8 plus. Make sure you have the regular s8 rom. Have you installed Samsung drivers? If not try installing Samsung drivers first.
