I have used mine several times for fries ,it works great. The default fry setting is for thick/steak fries so it is too.much but 15 minutes at 400 they come out great. I always stop half way...

Still waiting for stores to drop to $20 or $25. There's one an hour away that has a 15 at $20. Regular sale price for this is $40, so $5 is not that great of a saving but better than nothing I guess.

Found three locally at $35 each. Told it was discontinued after inventory. Farberware Electric Turkey Fryer was next to them for $30, 1/2 price. Still boxed, will use later today.
