Will this work on non-smokable cooking herbs? Got a basil plant and it's a pain in the ass to cut up the leaves every time I want to use some.

Ive had it for about a week and have only put 3 grinds through it. I initially cleaned it with alcohol and salt, rinsed it, washed it with warm soapy water, dried it and used it for the first time....

How long have you had yours? Lot of these grinders like to get stuck and even with alcohol soaks it can get jammed again easily

Check Wish.com... they have a number of decent grinders that don't have paint on them at all... They are heat treated or something. But they seem to be comparably priced.
