I started with a formatted ssd. Didn't run into this issue. I recommend not messing around with your original ssd so you can always go back to stock. Thus I purchased a separate ssd as a test bed.

I would reconsider returning and try to figure it out. Your not going to be able to play farcry 5 smoothly on any other 13' laptop at this price point. Did it crash while your playing a game?
