The edger does work with my Greenworks 80v base. Coming from stopped, I do have to start it spinning before it touches the ground, otherwise it just craps out. Hopefully I get used to that.

This looks like the MTD Clicklink/Trimmerplus. Make sure you check the chain before use. Mine arrived with the chain way too tight. There are others saying the same in reviews. Most don't adjust it...
