I have this model from a deal last year. Horrible design, the chain falls off, all of the time. I have regular chainsaws and have never had a problem setting tension and keeping the chain on.

Been a problem with *every* gas/electric chain saw I have owned. Just prepare for it :D Either empty the reservoir or put it in/on something that doesn't mind leaks ;)

SADLY they dont make powerful elect corded tools anymore You really have to buy gas, but elect is much better.

The user manual states minimum 16ga cord up to 50ft, minimum 14ga cord 50-100ft. I bought the amazonbasics 100ft 12ga cord.

Looking at the picture, it looks like it comes with a very short cord, so I'd assume you'd also need a very long extension cord to power?
