I've seen supplies get hot and fail myself while running on square-wave UPS output. More than once. Short times might be OK but if running 10+ minutes then many will get hot. We're talking about when...

more fiction, only certain APFC power supplies would be incompatible, mostly older Seasonics - worst case they would shut down due the zero state issue rather than ride through a power glitch,...

Ugh.... Have had both pure sine wave and simulated.... Unless you *need* pure sine wave due to a temperamental PFC power supply, you will find much better simulated deals (e.g. much better battery...

Simulated Sine Wave is fine (and every single time a debate of Simulated or Pure starts). I have both, however, not that a hot price especially after Amazon Tax. The pure sine wave one usually...

Good device. I've had mine for 6 years and it's been on 24/7 without any issues.

This is a mediocre deal at best. The true sine one goes on sale for this price usually at least once a year (typically BF timeframe). If you're not in a hurry, I'd hold out.

You must be new. Lots of cards price match. I heard of people doing it with discover and I've done it with citi several times. Your card probably does it too and you just didn't realize.

Exactly I bought the Costco Google express deal instead. Just strange no model number is listed.

If you have a Chase card you just missed it because they pulled that from all of their cards. I never ended up using it but it's sad that the perk is gone.

the pure sine version of this was $130 from B&H if you have a time machine to take you back to last year. this pricing isn't anything special for not pure sine wave

Seeing as the whole point of a UPS is to protect valuable electronics, I'd beg to differ.

The fans do not spin during normal operation, only during dischange and for a little bit when power comes back on while it recharges. Ones that have fans spinning all the time are typically online...

As I understand it you're very close. Active Power Factor Correction allows the supply to not only be plugged into either 120 volt or 240 volt outlets without changing a switch, but it also corrects...

Is there any perceivable fan noise during normal operation (not running on battery backup)? I'd love to use this for my PC but I've got some pretty quiet/low-frequency fans so anything whiny (such...

I just got 2 Cyber Power 850VA UPS (LE850G) from Fry's for a couple of media centers off Google Express for $51.75/ea+tax. They should suit my purposes. I still need to get a 1500/900 one for my...

I will give my two cents as well. I have a simulated Sine Wave APC UPS and have it hooked up to a Dell mini Tower and had multiple power outages and it works fine. Also, I have another one hooked...

Citi has citi rewind (at least they used to, not sure anymore). Chase will refund you the difference (I did it with a Greenworks trimmer last year) if the claim is submitted within a certain amount...
