Yes. I did this last month. Bought a simple mobile phone with plan. Activated the service in the phone with the free month. Transferred the sim to my unlocked iPhone. Worked with no issues.

Do the bonus airtime have an expiration date? I was able to activate the service with the included Tracfone and then use the Tracfone/SIM in a different non Tracfone phone. Don't know anything...

They are locked to TracFone, however they may work on other America Movil companies like Straight Talk and Total Wireless.

honestly, none. they all suck (low end devices). fiesta 2 is probably the best of the worst if you want to look at it that way - and it should be a $9.99 phone not a $30 one.
