You are correct. Powerwise it is capable of handling any work you throw at it, it is just that the hardware is not UltraHD Blu-ray playback compatible despite what Intel hinted prior to the release...

A 1060 or 1070 laptop makes so much more sense than this stupid NUC. Personally I am waiting for the first decent priced high quality 1100 series nvidia laptop with an i7-8700.
