My shipment arrived. The computer is very good, snappy... Display is good too. Battery life after full charge shows 11.7hrs.

The reason I purchased this laptop is Costco warranty and include 1T hard drive. I don't feel like messing around. The Acer also known as a lot of floatware, but can be uninstall.

The Amazon one I referenced has an IPS panel. Amazon also sells a similar older Acer model with a TN panel. The IPS model also has the DVD drive in it.

Aside from the normal TN viewing angles, which are not as bad as the 720 screen on my old computer, color is vibrant as 1080 should be. I don't game so I don't know about that other than not to...

It took 3 calls to Acer to find out the info on the screen. The first guy didn't even know what TN or IPS meant . A call to Costco also confirmed the TN panel. What a waste of an otherwise nicely...

Bit the bullet and ordered because of Costco's return policy if the screen bothers me, and for the 4 year warranty when bought with the Costco Citicard. Will post again after it arrives.
