Will this QuickJack referenced in this thread offered by Costco work for lifting a 2009 Corvette Base and be used to lift a 2004 Silverado 1500 Base Single Cab Short Bed 4.3 liter V6?
Thanks!

I got this since it was $999.99. Just got it, installed it in 1.5 hours, and had my car up max height. Very stable front back, can rock side to side, but looks really stable still.

One day I will buy this. My stupid car is too low to the ground for a floor jack to reach the jacking point (18 inches inward), for now I'm just using my scissor jack with impact wrench

this happens with poorly maintained jacks. When finished with a jack you should release all pressure and then firmly close the valve. I've had craftsman 3ton jack for 21 years or so and it is still...

How about using some metal shims? Or machine leveling pads such as this https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/86434842

It depends on model, most 90-00's did not have a front jacking point like the e90 etc. They have 4 jacking points, 2 on each side. The front and rear subframes can and will bend/distort if used to...

Take the front up a rhino ramp then you should be able to get a jack under the front jack point. How would you get the rear up then if you can't jack from the diff?

Thanks for the link. It looks good and I like that it can lift higher. But the deal breaker for the HF one is the 900lb weight. Too heavy to move around my 2 car garage.
