I agree. It's good.
It's much better than the batch they had last year. Considering its just a serrano, I give it a 7 out of 10. Which for the price is very good.

I often do this after the jamón is finished. Makes for a very hearty soup. I recommend not leaving the bone in too long otherwise the taste is overwhelming.

No, I actually meant that I do prefer the Spanish Serrano ham and the Spanish chorizo over what we have available here in the states. As you mentioned, the flavor is so much more intense.
