I've found the MX518 to be very repairable. Aftermarket skates are available and the buttons are just standard omron which can be cleaned or replaced with relative ease.

True but far more expensive. This is not the serious gaming mouse. This mouse is good for daily casual use. I have this for a year now and so far serves me well.

So funny to read these comments from pseudo 'pro gamers' claiming this mouse is somehow not for 'serious gaming'. Mice are some of the most subjective pieces of PC equipment you can buy. Some people...

As opposed, to me $30 for this mouse is well worth, working 8hrs a day with CAD, game at night using this mouse all most everyday.

Seems like a great mouse except for all of the reviews on Newegg reporting the scroll wheel being cheap, and breaking; even after they had it replaced! No thanks, I'll stick to my cheap Zelotes T-90....

This M65 pro mouse could only be better with good sensor, well build. It's $30, lasts at least 3 years, I would recommend to go to best buy store and try it out.
