its not "a bit longer" get the scanza to scan them 10 times faster than get the epson to scan the ones you really like. everyone wins ​

If you're just getting this for 35mm film or slides I would recommend getting an Epson Perfection scanner. You can get them on ebay for under this price. Look for the 4490, V500, 4990, or V550.
