The free one includes an IR remote - I'm in. My TV has two HDMI inputs and I've got at least three devices (AppleTV, XB1, PS4).

As far as I can tell, this one doesn't come with a remote, do it seems unlikely that it even accepts IR signals. Looks like you switch sources using the button built into the device. Let me know if...

For VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, or Thunderbolt, Matrox make boxes that expand one connection out across two or three displays. Not HDMI though. Matrox Graphics eXpansion Modules
