You should dig around and see if you can find dimensions since I'm assuming it depends on the shape of the can opening (tall 96 gallon can vs. shorter wider opening 96 gallon can).

Just get yourself a push mower with a mulching blade and run the leaves over with the mower.
Try not to let them pile up to much. Ill usually do my lawn 2-4 times with the mower once the leaves...
