I have been rocking a 720p Samsung TV since 2007 and for everyday TV watching it is just as satisfying as a 1080p.

For me, it's because I was looking for a 32" TV to mount on the wall in front of the treadmill and rower. I didn't want anything larger and I don't need high resolution at the size or while I'm...

For a 32" TV, if you sit 4 feet away from it, then yes it will make a difference. If you sit 7 feet away, you will not see a difference. I assume if you're playing games, 1080p matters since you...

That's why I bought a TCL Roku tv. I still have a Roku HD box that works fine and it's about 6 years old I've made the same point to family and friends about all the various manufacturers. I don't...

You also get better speakers, more Hdmi ports, and more viewing modes. I guess I should have posted more specs. Its definitely and all around better TV for the cost.

Got the Sharp 1080p 40 Inch Model:LC-40Q3070U from Best Buy just last month for $150. Not sure if this is a good deal for smaller size and resolution for $50 off.

The Insignia 40" 1080p doesn't look too bad at $149 for those wanting 1080p. I bought an Insignia 32" 1080p a few years ago and wish I could get a second.

In 2019, 32 inches is good enough for a bathroom screen, if your 6 inch smartphone isn't enough to pass the time during bowel movements.

before you judge 720p hdtv's as not that great, I recommend putting this 720p against a 32-49 inch 4k TV. Now , in the settings on the 720p turn it to vivid mode and bright , then watch 4k YouTUBE...

Unless you are dirt poor, why not spend $200+ for a 4k generic TV set? A 4th generation tcl model perhaps?

Is fine for a guest/kids room. 720p is fine for this size. Don't use it as a computer monitor though, you will go blind at the huge ugly 720p desktop picture.
