So is this officially dead? It appears the Costco Square Trade TV warranty only cover TVs that were purchased at Costco. Is this correct?

This is probably because of some of these idiot TV reviewers that review TVs out of their livingrooms. They Blab about news and deals they steal from Slick Deals and end up getting these things...

I was looking for this. Too bad it's expired - Costco will not longer accept TVs bought elsewhere. Does anyone have a good alternative? Thanks!

How does this work? If I buy a $ 999 TV and bring total to 1100 due to tax, can I still qualify for the $ 999 64.99 Warranty or do I have to buy the $ 1000+ $ 99.99 warranty?

Because the entire point of the thread is you can buy the Costco ST warranty on TVs you did not buy at Costco Costco has great return policy, but their TV prices on some higher end sets are much...

Costco has a great return policy though, why would you need ST? If the tv started having burn in 2 years after purchase, you would be able to just take it back to Costco and they will refund you.

You are mistaken, since: BB rarely matches the best prices on OLEDs and BBs warranty is hundreds of dollars more and Burn in is an imaginary issue unless you're watching like 600 straight...

Squaretrade does not cover Burn In Which is great for OLED Makes a Best Buy price match on a tv and purchasing their warranty sort of the best option Please let me know if I'm mistaken

Yep, I would never get an extended warranty on a TV below $500ish. The 20% you’re spending could be used to buy a newer set later on. I am kicking myself for not buying an extended warranty on my...

You should have. It ain't the 617! I mentioned "617". You should have caught on, Best Buy doesn't sell the 617. Best Buy sells the 615 Yeah....what you said.
