I have this monitor and it's amazing and overclocked to 120hz no problem. I also spent a ton of time reviewing which drove me crazy. Overall I'm happy and you will be too.

The link is to a VA panel not an IPS. This means that the contrast ratio will be better on the Samsung, but the color will be more accurate on the Alienware.
