don't know what so hot about it. the 16G (2X8) kits are on sale between 90 to 100 all day everyday, at 2400 speed no less. which is about 45 to 50 dollar per 8G. the 32G( 2X16) kits are on sale...

Also, its a good idea to take out your original stick as a backup in case your two new modules go bad or whatnot that way you're not stuck waiting for new ram. It will probably never happen but one...

Yes I’m running this same model 16gb and works pretty good. Anyway the max it’s 2400 so we are good if u plan to have the laptop for long time.
