These Cobra FRS radios DO NOT have a 16 mile range. Maybe 1/4 mile and even then only if you have clear sight of the other person. Fun for kids, but that's about it.

That's because is truck delivery from the store, not UPS. It's more for lumber and big stuff rather than anything like this.
Price is for store clearance too. Not lowes.com shipped orders.
