I know that this goes against the slickdeals belief but it is a never ending battle for me to see stuff and convince myself not to buy it, especially mechanical keyboards.

The lack of Num Pad is a no go, and it's not even back-lit

I have the RedDragon from Amazon without the 10 key and like it.

Oh wow, I havent been paying attn. Didnt know they had one that was swappable w/o soldering which is why I never even considered the custom boards ppl were putting together! That is probably my ideal...

My company will allow me to pack my stuff(accompanied by security guards) so that wouldn't be a problem...

Question for those of you who bring your keyboards into work...Aren't you worried about what would happen if you get fired? I know they're supposed to mail you your old stuff back but aren't you...

I think I am going to look at a GMMK board next or at least one that has swappable switches. Soldering a whole bunch of them takes hours and just being able to pull the switch is soo much nicer....

I have an older Cherry MX Brown keyboard and these do feel kind of scratchier but I wouldn't say that its not worth the $27 or whatever amount of money that you'd spend on it. Just like most browns...

I disagree with the assessment that these are no good. I am typing on Cherry Browns (at work) and though I like them alot. My home PC has these Outemus. I bought it because it was cheap and I wanted...

Shame. I guess a low-cost mech keyboard with good brown switches really is too good to be true.

I got the wireless version. Compared to my cooler master cherry Browns, they aren’t even close. I wouldn’t recommend this.

I'm a big fan of the 87 key keyboards, AND I enter numbers all day for my job, also. I use a separate number pad, so my mouse can be between my keyboard and the number pad on the right. I find...

Fairly good entry level keyboard if you are not sure if you should drop $100-200+ on a mechanical keyboard. Outemu is a cheaper version of the Cherry MX switches. The springs are stiffer, the typing...

I want this, but with membrane keys. I have two 87-key mechanical keyboards (brown & blue, both dampened with O-rings) and they're too loud for my co-workers.

Brown switches are the best switches for work. Relative to red and blue switches, they are also less commonly found on mainstream mech keyboards. Unless you need a number pad, this is a great deal....

I bought the corded version a couple weeks ago because work (engineering) provided a standing desk unit that barely had enough space on the keyboard/mouse tray to fit both. I could only move my mouse...
