Auto close is after opening the umbrella, push 1 more time, then compress from the top. This Tote does not do that. We have to pull it down like traditional umbrella.

Fairly cheap. It is also not auto close so that let me down. The handle is made of cheap plastic. But I bought the regular size at $3 each so it has its value.
