They're the same company. Bought my C8 OLED from them a while ago. Bought from firstclasstvs and got an iElectrica invoice. They confirmed they're the same. They call you after the...

I can confirm that if you buy direct from site, they will call you about mandatory "shipping insurance." Extra $225 on my order. I cancelled. Not sure whether they try that scam with Ebay orders.

I just checked their eBay reviews and searched them for "insurance". There was no mention of up-charges of any kind. That doesn't go over well on eBay:) so I assume there are none. So, the +$50 on...

From the reviews online it looks like they call and require to add on the insurance after the fact. You can always order and cancel later if this is the case.

Thanks for the info didn't know that. It's strange since ielectrica and firstclasstv are essentially the same company.

I'll think about it but BBY price matched me at $1899 + warranty at $449. I have until 14th to pick it up and can return it for 15 days no restocking fee. $449/5 = $90 a year, peace of mind,...

I think paying 25% of the price of the TV only to gain protection against something that only happens if you abuse the crap out of it makes 0 financial sense. If you abuse it so badly you get burn...

Firstclasstvs requires $175 shipping insurance for 65 inch TV or larger so the actual total price is $2024.

You think a 5 year through BBY at $500 is a safe bet? On the fence, considering springing for one but only with the warranty.

How far off might a reasonable deal be for the 2019 models ? (OLED65C9PUA I think). I've lost track of the latest burn-in issues but had heard these models may merit getting an extended warranty...
