keep in mind, the parlor is a parlor style body but has the same scale length as the dread. if you don't care about electronics, go with the dread.

This guitar or the 270D Dreadnaught (no cutaway sadly)? I feel like I'd want the low end of the bigger body, but the parlor size seems like it'd be a nice couch guitar.

I bought one, haven't received yet but I own 4 other Parlors. I can tell you it will sound and play completely different than the AC3R. Being a Parlor, it won't be as loud or deep as grand concerts...
