Thats a good idea. I got a couple of these cheapies on a previous slick deal and I tried getting the rims of the top/bottom of the box wet, so they'd expand and seal better, that didn't work too...

Be warned OP, these humidors leak humidity bad. I've done a couple past similar deals for the same reason as you. If yours also leaks humidity, consider a tuppedor, doesn't look fancy, but works...
