Apologies, you are right. I finally dug into bandwidth monitoring on my Asus router which isn't always clear. A night with little to no motion, my WAN reports upload around 1.5-2Mbps. If I do some...

I agree it is highly compressed when you download it, but might not the one uploaded to Ring's S3 bucket. If you tried to view a motion event happened 1 minute ago, the app will tell you it is still...

Maybe I'm wrong about the bandwidth but I've read claims of a megabit or lower for Ring Spotlight. This is consistent with the video quality I observed: very highly compressed. A 4k camera at 20fps...

If you just need a IP Cam there way more better options than the one you mentioned, buying Ring or Nest are spending money on the integration, if you are a security guard watching the monitor all the...

No siren of course, also no LED light when motion detected, it's a cheap indoor camera and not weather proof. Wyze have free storage, but after monitoring the network traffic through Unifi, Wyze...

Ring video quality is pretty bad. I have an amcrest 1080p which records locally (for free!) and it's vastly superior in both audio and video quality. I was given my ring as a gift so I can't...
