I bypassed the speakers on the projector by connecting a Fire TV Cube to a soundbar via Bluetooth. The picture is incredibly bright, in hindsight I probably should have gone with an ht1070a.

I got a 2050a last month, and it was encased in an inflated plastic tube sleeve in a form fitted box. Had no cosmetic issues and it's working just fine. I'd definitely give them a call.

Just received my projector (HT2550). BenQ basically wrapped the projector in a thin foam, threw it in a box that was way too big, and shipped it out. Needless to say, it did not arrive in the best...

Nice to know they are not new bulbs. Is there any known maximum amount of hours they allow on the bulb before they just install new bulbs in the refurbished projectors?
