Just found one at my local Walmart in North Knoxville today even though they have been out on Brickseek for a while. Nice surprise and is pretty nice with my little experience with sound bars.

This is a good soundbar, but just realize that it doesn't support Dolby Digital Plus. On Netflix, surround sound comes with DD Plus so this soundbar doesn't work for it.

Doubt the sound processing unit or ports were affected. You could try plugging in some headphones to see if that still works and you probably have your answer as to whether the TV is still cranking...

Did you ask them how many they had left in stock with the sku on their hand-held scanner? If it said that there was still some in stock then they were lying.

You must be new here. Calling the store about a ridiculous low price item will alert the store associates and they will buy that item before you. This happens all the time for newbies.
