Also I’ve used brush cutter attachment with these trimmers to do 1/4 acre, was effective and safe even though its not recommended.

Was the attachment-able trimmers you guys received with the triggered on or button switch? I use the trimmers quite extensively and have to use a clamp to hold the trigger down, pretty annoying.

Like any LiIon, don’t store in hot environments and keep them charged. Google “battery university” for more info on best practices for all Lithium Ion batteries

Also, to not leave batteries on the charger. It does turn off when it's done, but from what Greenworks tells me, take it out of the charger once it completes (manual says this too). I've done this...

I have kobalt batteries. Should I get the string trimmer and then modify the inside of the trimmer? I could also modify the battery to fit maybe.

I guess if you were gifted an 80v battery these bare tool prices are good. To get started with this 80v eco system is ridiculously high. Really $280 for a string trimmer, $250 for a Blower? Maybe...

The gut of Snapper and Greenworks are the same but the case (specifically the locations of the raised channel on the battery side cover) are slightly different which disallows you from inserting one...

If you have multiple batteries, I believe it is better to swap it out with a fresh one before you totally deplete the used one. To store the batteries unused for long period, it is better to charge...

You have to slightly modify the tool or the battery case. They're the same battery except for a slight difference of the battery case.
