Good luck with that maybe the manager is willing to help. About the commission I'd love to know as well.

within the 14 day return. Will try to see if they'll make an exception at my store if I'm exchanging for the z2/z3. How much commission do they make thru VZW?

That is correct as long as it is within the 14 day return period. If not you're out of luck.

Thank you! So I can buy with on-time payment and can either either cancel on website, app or phone within 3 days and I will get a refund of my activation fee that I pay at best Buy when I purchase...

regretting my $135 X4 purchase. Since I opened the x4 box BB will charge restocking right?

IIRC, if you cancel your account within 3 days, the activation fee is waived. However, on a DPP, the Verizon website usually makes you wait 14 (or 30) days before allowing you to payoff a DPP early,...

Can anyone confirm the tax is on $24 (not retail price) if you do one-time payment?

What is the app trick? Thanks...

In my case, all three were DPP deals and I paid them off within 3 days using the app trick and then ported out the associated lines, which cancels the lines. I'm a current Verizon customer and they...

was the tax amount less if you chose the one-time $24 payment?

Are you saying you personally cancelled and still kept the phones without extra verizon fees on deals like this where it had that "return the phone" clause in the terms? even though those terms and...

Yeah, I've never had that issue on these types of deals (have done the Pixel 2 once from Best Buy and once from Target, as well as the Pixel 3 from Best Buy). I actually just looked at the Best...

I don't think these terms even apply. They have early termination garbage in there and all kinds of non applicable things. The $24 you pay upfront and is not financed.

Thanks to you both :thanks: and repped. Agree with the two of you as well. I've noticed those remnants from their old contract plans still mentioned in the fine print of any DPP deals I've ever...

They would charge you the full financed amount on your final bill, in this case that would be $24, plus whatever service used.
Post #127624966 added 05-19-2019 1:41 PM by dpham00 in Deal Talk
That's correct. They will not let you cancel service within 14 days without returning the phone. The only way around this is to port out the line. This automatically cancels service effective to the...

so are you saying that if i bought this, cancelled service to use the phone on another carrier, they wouldnt try to charge me if i dont return the phone as their vague terms say?
Post #127624918 added 05-19-2019 1:38 PM by charlesp2000 in Deal Talk
They have a bunch of random unrelated junk in their terms. I don't think most of it even applies especially the early termination garbage. I wish these companies would clean up their mess

I think that's been standard boiler-plate terminology on these Verizon deals for a while -- so if you're not on a contract, it shouldn't apply. I remember seeing something like that on a Pixel 2 deal...
