This thing is plastic af, everything is plastic. I wouldnt put any strain on it beyond a light Mirrorless and lens. Would work well for a go pro, phone, point and shoot

100%. All I did was screw my gimbal on (I didn't even set it down) and then unscrew it. No excessive force. No over-tightening. The plastic actually broke/"ripped" when taking it off.

These are surprisingly decent, I used it with my GX85 and never really felt like it would be an issue. The clip detached from the head for easy removal, not bad if you’re on a budget.
